Holds a degree in Economics and Management Sciences from Complutense University of Madrid (Monetary Economics Specialty). International Business Management Masters from the ESIC, and postgraduate degree in Business Management and Managerial Skills from the IESE and the IE Business School, Madrid.

For over 18 years, Angel Jose del Rio has developed his professional career working for different top financial entities such as; Banesto, Banco Pastor, Banco Sabadell and currently works in ARESBANK commercial management department based in its headquarters, Madrid.

He has always been linked to the reality of the SMEs and to Spain´s largest companies. Angel has specialised in the research, management and processing of the export and imports of the Bank´s customers, laying emphasis on the commercial relations with MENA countries (Middle easy & North Africa). Expert in International methods of Payment; Finance and International Guarantees; Foreign Exchange Market and Management of Exchange Rate Risk.  

He teaches and collaborates in different Masters programmes and specialisation courses taught at the Chamber of Commerce of Malaga, Granada, Huelva, Santander and Ciudad Real, as well as the Pablo de Olavide University of Seville.

He is a staunch advocate of the great opportunities offered by the Arab countries to Spanish companies and passionate about Arab history and culture.
