Noman qualified as a dentist and after completing his post graduation decided that the world of business was more to his liking. He met with Imran, a doctor who had already moved into the business world, and together they created the Halal Food Festival. The 3 day consumer show was held in London Excel with 15,000 visitors attending, enjoying fine food and watching celebrity chefs demonstrating in the live kitchen and cooking school. For the next Halal Food Festival, to be in London on 23-25th May, Noman is planning a bigger and better event, as well as planning to hold the festival in other countries.

Noman coined the term haloodies or 'halal foodies' for the festival followers and after understanding gaps in the market, together Noman and Imran created the Haloodies food brand. The idea was to provide premium halal pre packed products like fresh meat with beautiful branding to the growing halal consumer population who's needs were not being met. Quality, range and convenience propelled the brand to be listed on Ocado, the worlds largest online retail store and to become the first fresh halal meat range in Harrods for a short period.

Recently married, Noman enjoys spending time with his family, has a keen interest in sports and trying good food from global cuisines.
