•1989: CDS party candidate for Congress in the 1989 General Election.

•1989-1991: Provincial and Regional Secretary of the Andalusian CDS party youths.

•1990: CDS party candidate for the Andalusian Parliament in the 1990 Regional Election.

•1991-1993: Provincial Secretary of the CDS party in Cordoba and member of the CDS party Regional and National Committee.

•1995-1999: Popular Party Councilman of Gualdalcazar town council.

•1996-2000: Member of the General Direction of the Latin American Foundation.

•1998-2000: Regional election coordinator of the Popular Party - Andalusia.

•2000-2001: General Undersecretary responsible for elections and training of the Popular Party in Cordoba.

•1999-2003: Deputy Spokesman of the Popular Group at the Provincial Council of Cordoba. Currently, Popular Party Councilman of Cordoba City Council

•2002: Since the X Provincial Congress, he is General Secretary of the Popular Party of Cordoba. December 18th 2004 he was re-elected General Secretary of the Popular Party of Cordoba.

•April 2004: Spokesman of the Popular Group. Cordoba City Council.
