Vanessa Bernad González, was born in Cordoba in 1973. She currently lives in Malaga. Vanessa holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering, specialised in Rural Engineering, from the University of Cordoba. Also she is an Occupational Health and Safety Technician. Since 2013 she holds the position of CEO of Extenda – Andalusian Agency for External Promotion. Also, Vanessa Bernad is Managing director of the Andalusian Foundation Emprende since 2011.

Since the year 2000, Bernad has held several post of responsibility in the Andalusian Public Administration, such as: General Direction of Self Employment, deputy Managing Director of the Andalusian Foundation Emprende, Technical Advisor at the General Direction of Sustainable Development in Rural Areas, Department of Infrastructure and Rural Development, and Head of the Public Sector Engineering Area and Agricultural and Fisheries Development of the Regional Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
